Location: The Heritage Ranch Private Marina is located at the end of Heritage Road at the very west end of Heritage Ranch. The Marina is just beyond the campground area.
Beyond the Marina parking lot area and the boat launch ramp is the “Point.” During El Niño years, this area can be completely underwater. During years of less rain, this area is used for picnicking and passage to boat slips.
Amenities: A six (6) lane launch ramp, courtesy dock, paved parking lot, restrooms, laundry facilities, 80 leased boat slips, a rentable dock, 20 rentable boat slips, and a seasonal mussel inspection station. The 80 leased boat slips currently have a waiting list through the HROA Member Services office, as no new slips are being added at this time, and each lease agreement for the current slips is not transferable.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times except when in the water.
Only vehicles with HROA decals may park in the Marina parking lot or on the Point. Guests may park in the dirt area just north of the campground/fish cleaning station.
For safety reasons, the Point is closed to vehicles between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The 6-lane launch ramp does a great deal of volume during holiday weekends and hot summers. All members may use the launch ramp free of charge as one of their many Heritage Ranch amenities. Due to very low water elevations in 2021, the number of launch lanes is reduced significantly, and the number of guest vessels is limited.
Effective on April 10, 2021, a maximum of 15 guest boats may be sponsored by HROA members in good standing. Launch ramp privileges are included, and a fee is paid. An HROA mussel inspection is required with a separate fee. Reservations may be made by submitting a Guest Vessel Registration request available on the Boating and Camping Forms website. Up to a thirty (30) day pre-registration is encouraged to ensure entry. Early registration also provides a discount on the normal guest boat launch fee.
Parking at the HROA Marina is reserved for members only. All vehicles without a current HROA decal or placard are subject to a parking citation in order to allow members priority parking and to assist with vehicle and vessel security. Overflow parking is available in the dirt area just off the pavement north of the campground/fish cleaning station and near the intersection of Heritage and Loop Roads.
The 80-boat slips located at the HROA Marina are leased to current members through the Member Services Office. The current lease period is for January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029. Lessees pay annually in January and turnover most often occurs at this time each year. The average waiting time for a slip to come available is approximately five (5) years, though some members on the list have waited longer. Note: Condominium residents have additional boat slips available only to their sub-association membership.
Members interested in leasing a boat slip should complete the Application for Lease of HROA Watercraft Slip and submit it to the Member Services Office with a request to be added to the waiting list.
Boat Slips may be reserved up to, but not more than, 30 days prior to the reservation date.
Members or Tenants may only occupy or reserve one slip or dock at any given time.
All rentals begin on a Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. & end on Monday at 8 p.m.
