Equestrian Center

The Equestrian Center has been at Heritage Ranch since the first property was sold. The original developer used to give a pony to any property owner that wanted one. We have come a long way since then. Our goal for the Equestrian Center is to continue to make improvements and upgrades for the riding enjoyment of all our members.  We want the Equestrian Center to be a place where members can all come and enjoy time with their horses.

The Equestrian Center has a total of 87 paddocks with 18 paddocks added in 2004 in the new section. Paddocks are currently available for lease in both areas, and are leased on a monthly basis.

Our equestrian riders have riding abilities ranging from just beginning to expert. Many breeds are represented including:  Quarter Horses, Arabians, Morgans, Appaloosas, Paints, Pasos, National Show Horses, Warmbloods to Miniature Horses. Some of the horses are award winning show horses. We have dressage, hunter-jumper, cutting, reining cow, team penning, and working cow horses as well as mini's that pull carts.  A large number of the members have trail horses that they enjoy taking out on the great trails that we have here on the ranch.

Those of you who are interested in leasing a paddock within the Equestrian Center should contact the HROA Member Services Office. Effective July 1, 2023, the monthly paddock lease fee is $75.00. That fee pays for an area of 24’ x 48’ for your paddock, a feeding twice daily (HROA Feeder with your own hay), water and access to all arenas, the wash racks (three with warm water), trailer parking (if available), the hot walker, hay storage, pasture time on a first-come, first-serve basis and the best riding trails around. Things like pasture time, arenas, hay storage, etc. are shared with other members and their horses and are dependent on availability.

If you would like to visit the HROA Equestrian Center with your horse, there is a $25.00 daily fee paid in advance for a guest horse stall. It is your responsibility to feed your horse and leave the stall, small arena, wash rack, etc. clean when you leave. Your horse must be current on all shots (vaccination records must be provided to the office in advance) and wormings.

All Equestrian Center Members are provided a copy of the Equestrian Center section of the HROA Membership Handbook / Rules & Regulations, Code of Conduct and Application Agreement that all Equestrian Center Members and their guests must abide by during the term of your stay at the Equestrian Center. Failure to abide by the terms of this document (or subsequent changes) may be cause for termination of your privileges at the Equestrian Center.

All use of the Equestrian Center and trails is on a “use at your own risk” basis.
