As discussed with the membership in our 8/27/2020 Open Session Board Meeting, the Member Lane entry gate area at our Main Gate on Gateway Drive is actively sinking and needs to be excavated and immediately repaired to avoid this section of the roadway from completely failing. This emergency roadway repair project will begin on Monday, 9/14/2020, and the Member Lane at the Main Gate will be temporarily closed to through traffic. We sincerely apologize in advance for any delay at the Main Gate this emergency roadway repair project may cause any of our members or residents.
Below are the traffic control and safety measures that will be put in place on Monday morning, 9/14 to facilitate HROA entry gate traffic on Gateway Drive while this much-needed roadway repair project is being completed. This project is expected to last approximately 2-3 weeks, and work will not be done on the weekends.
- All members will use the Visitor entry lane on Gateway Drive or the Member Lane at the North Gate while this project is in progress.
- Visitors will be re-directed to the North Gate Visitor lane entry by several large electronic signs posted on the G14 and on Gateway Drive.
- Temporary staff will be placed at the North Gate Visitor lane from 7:00 to 9:00 am Monday – Friday to help with the contractor traffic entering our community each weekday.
- The exit lanes will not be affected at all by this project either on Gateway Drive or at the North Gate.
Attached is the project schedule-at-a-glance, and this project will be managed by the Association’s contract Construction Project Management firm, MarWal Construction. Please note that this attached project timeline is SUBJECT TO CHANGE, as we do not know yet everything that we are going to find under this roadway section once we start excavating. We are obviously hopeful that this roadway repair is as straightforward as it looks.
As always, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns. Thank you!
