HOW TO REVERSE A RULE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS ADOPTED OR CHANGED
THAT YOU DON'T AGREE WITH

1- Before the Board of Directors can adopt or change a rule that involves a monetary penalty they must first notify you as a member (by first-class mail) when the board meeting will take place, the text of the proposed rule change and a description of the purpose and effect of the proposed rule change.  This written notice must be mailed at least 30 days prior to the board meeting.

2- After adoption, the Board of Directors must notify you as a member (by first-class mail) within 15 days after making the rule change of its adoption.

3- After you receive the notice of rule change (#2 above), you can request a Special Meeting of Members to reverse the rule change, but this must be done within 30 days of receiving the notice of rule change.  The request for a Special Meeting of Members is done by petition and must contain signatures representing at least 5% of lot owners within Heritage Ranch.
